Optimus Solutions and Cisco Announce
Winner of Total Communications Makeover Contest

Republic National Distributing Company
Awarded $100,000 in Communications Technology

Norcross, GA — January 16, 2008 — Optimus Solutions, a comprehensive technology solutions provider and value-added reseller (VAR) that was acquired this month by Softchoice Corporation, today announced that Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) was selected as the winner of the Total Communications Makeover Contest, which was co-sponsored by Optimus Solutions and Cisco. RNDC, the second largest distributor of premium wine and spirits in the U.S., will receive up to $100,000 in IP communications technology and support services.

The makeover package includes up to 100 Cisco VoIP phones, a Unified Communications platform and professional installation services provided by Optimus. RNDC will receive an innovative set of telephony and voice messaging features on a single platform and experience myriad communications benefits across a common IP infrastructure.
